THIS IS A POST DEDICATED TO LANEWAY FESTIVAL

ST JEROME'S LANEWAY FESTIVAL began in Melbourne in 2004. The festival expanded to Sydney in 2006, Brisbane in 2007, Adelaide in 2008 and Perth in 2009. Pitchfork reviewed this event as "Australia's most insurgent and unique pop music event". On October 1, 2009, that the festival would begin to visit New Zealand in 2010 and on November 15 2010 they officially announced that Laneway Festival are expanding to SINGAPORE.

That's right, Singapore. Bands rarely come here, and at least 3 bands that I thought I would never get a chance to see are coming on the 29th of January.

Tickets are on sale tomorrow, a.k.a 19th November, a.k.a my birthday. But we're not going to talk about my birthday because THE FACT THAT FOALS ARE COMING TO SINGAPORE ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN MY BIRTHDAY.
They're going to announce more bands soon, and I hope either one of these bands are in one of the lineups:

TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB // Phoenix // Ariel Pink // Bear in Heaven // Klaxons // Local Natives

All of them are in Australia for Laneway or at the same time as Laneway and hopefully, they'll come to Singapore first, especially Two Door. Come on Two Door...

I will constantly dance like Gus and jump like Shawn until Laneway Festival Singapore 2011 is officially over.

No it's not. Anyway, I skipped cross country today and good thing I did because IT'S BOILING OUTSIDE. And also I finished TWO yearbook pages before noon, I feel like a super nerd.
I've decided not to go out on weekends because well, I don't want to and I want to save up for upcoming concerts WHICH ARE DUN DUN DUN:

• Vampire Weekend in JKT
• Vampire Weekend in SG (yes I am watching both)
• Flaming Lips
• Temper Trap
• Tokyo Police Club
• Owen Pallett
• Two Door Cinema Club

So in preparation of staying at home for two days, I have bought (DUN DUN DUN another list)

• NME
• CDs (Django Reinhardt, Belle & Sebastian, Pavement + Flaming Lips)
• A whole carton of milk
• Cheese balls
• A large chocolate bar
